Edelweiss is a small, white flower that mainly grows in the mountains of Switzerland. It is a very resilient flower, but it isn’t easy to find. It only blooms between August and September. It can survive rocky mountain terrain in little sunlight, and can even handle extreme altitude and temperature changes. Just like the little flower itself, the skin care properties it produces also promote resilience. It builds up resilience, and helps skin cells replenish and rebuild after damage. It's impressive that such a small flower can bring so many important benefits.

Sunscreen
Sun damage is one of the leading causes of aging skin. Edelweiss can combat the free radicals of the sun because of its high concentration of flavonoids
and phenolic acid. These will fight UV induced damage. Edelweiss can also act as a sunscreen to prevent sun damage.
Moisturizer
Edelweiss can reach deep into the skin, moisturizing skin cells through multiple layers. As it moisturizes the skin cells, it also strengthens them. Edelweiss helps skin cells retain moisture, which in turn helps them to regulate moisture production on the skin. This will help the skin combat dryness and oily skin.
Antioxidant
Edelweiss is loaded with antioxidants, which are important for combatting aging. The antioxidants help repair the effects of aging
and prevent further signs from appearing. This helps to reduce wrinkles
and fine lines.
Blood Flow
Edelweiss helps improve our body’s circulation. As we get older, circulation may slow down, keeping our blood from getting to the skin, making it appear older. By improving blood flow, Edelweiss helps speed up the rejuvenation process.
By incorporating Edelweiss into your skin care routine, you will be able to notice many important benefits. This resilient little flower has numerous and impressive ways to fight the look and signs of aging.
